🔎Exploring Informatics Education in Greek Schools🏫🇬🇷

💻We’re excited to share early insights from our focus group research on informatics education in Greece, part of the broader “DIGITAL FIRST” project.📗

🚩Key recommendations:
1️⃣ Investment in technological resources for schools
2️⃣ Curriculum modernization to include essential topics such as AI, Big Data, and Blockchain.
3️⃣ Professional development for teachers to help them stay up-to-date with technological advancements.
4️⃣ Interactive and game-based Learning to make informatics more engaging and help students develop critical problem-solving skills.

📌Our project calls to:
➡ substitute traditional, programming-heavy curricula with edge technologies
➡ invest in up-to-date technology, in order to transform students’ digital skills from basic to advanced
➡ encourage students to become active creators of the digital world
➡ create a more inclusive and effective approach education across Europe, by making informatics accessible to everyone

🔮📒 These changes are essential to equip our students with the skills they need for the future.🌐
