We are thrilled to have been represented by Anastasios Giannaros at the ENFA Business Summit 2024 in Stockholm! Over two days, our organization had the opportunity to connect with incredible stakeholders from across Europe and beyond, gaining valuable insights that will guide our future collaborations.
From networking with innovation leaders in Sweden and Denmark to learning about Nordic public funding schemes like the Joint Nordic Calls for Proposals (offered by The Research Council of Norway) and the Nordic Culture Fund (offered by Nordisk Kulturfond), it was an enriching experience for Project Lighthouse.
One of the key takeaways from the event was the concept of blended funding, combining public EU funding with private investments offered by investors. This opened our eyes to the potential for startups and experienced organizations to collaborate on EU-funded projects, driving international innovation. 🌍
The workshops on Horizon Europe and Creative Europe funding schemes provided us with clear, actionable strategies for securing funding for impactful projects. We are excited to apply these strategies to further our mission.
A huge thank you to ENFA – Euro Nordic Funding Alliance and Niloufar Gharavi for organizing such an insightful and productive event. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Alessandro Carbone for inviting us to participate—it was a fantastic opportunity! The focus on Euro-Nordic partnerships and opportunities to collaborate with regions outside Europe (such as Africa and Asia) is something that excites us, and we are eager to explore these possibilities.
